Sponsor the calendar

Worcester Events is the free community calendar for Worcester County: concerts, festivals, shows, talks and family days, every week, checked by a person before they go up. A few local sponsors keep it free for everyone, and their names sit next to the listings people come back to all week.

Who sees it

People in and around Worcester deciding what to do this weekend, where to take the kids on a school vacation day, or which show to catch. They come back because the listings are complete and accurate, and most of them live within a short drive of your front door.

That is a different audience than a banner on a national site: everyone here is local, and everyone is already in a going-out frame of mind.

What a sponsor gets

A card on every visitYour logo, name and two lines in the sponsor column beside the calendar, on the home page and on every day people scroll through.
A spot in the scheduleSponsors also appear in a quiet strip between days, so the message is seen by people reading the listings, not just the sidebar.
A fair rotationThe order shuffles on every visit. Nobody owns the top spot, so the price is the same for everyone.
A simple monthly reportHow many people saw the calendar and how many clicked through to you. No dashboards, one email.
A link that worksYour card links straight to your site or a page you choose. Change the copy or the link any time by emailing us.
Your name on a community thingThe calendar is free, has no accounts and no paywall, and credits its sponsors for keeping it that way.

Common questions

Do I need a logo file?
A PNG or SVG is best. If you only have a photo of your sign, send that and we will make it work.
Can I promote one event instead?
Yes. Open any event on the calendar and choose "Promote this event" to feature it at the top of its day. That is separate from sponsoring, and anyone can do it.
Is there any tracking on visitors?
Only the basic page counts needed for your monthly report. No ad network, no retargeting, nothing sold.
Who runs this?
A Worcester resident who got tired of checking six websites to find out what was going on this weekend. The calendar is a community project first and a business second.
